Description

Required if employee leaves the employer and they will still be on the file.

Employment end date should be provided if the employee has left employment or the scheme and will be supplied on every submission thereafter. This will automatically determine if the record is a leaver within the scheme.

A leaver is identified by a unique id on B&CE system with an open period of employment but does not appear in the customer’s uploaded file. Where the employee has left employment or the scheme and been removed from submission, the period of employment will be closed as at the end of the last PRP if no employment end date is supplied.

Once the employee has been marked as a leaver the record no longer needs to be provided on future submissions.

Where an employee has an end date for employment, contributions will be accepted if it is within 2 PRPs of the end date.
